Cameron--- We are ready!

We officially have everything we need to be "ready" for Cameron. His room is now finished and I have bought all of the necessities. Now, we just need a baby to utilize all these fun things! I've been measuring over 2 weeks ahead, so the doctor said he could come any day. I am working out a lot and eating spicy food....we will see how that works out!
Jonas and I put up a really cool vinyl tree on the wall over the crib!
Aunt April finished the bedding!
We made a cute bulletin board where we will display pictures of family and friends for Cameron to see!
We also replaced the new chair in the room with a different new chair that April found!

Week 37

Here is a picture of me and Cameron at 37 weeks.

Another funny note--we went and got some Thai food today and this is what my fortune cookie said, "A short stranger will soon enter your life with blessings to share." I wonder if the fortune is talking about Cameron...........

Maternity Pictures and Mazda #2

This past weekend we met with Sherah Witt at the Dallas Arboretum for a photo session (I was still banged up from the car accident but decided to tough it out). This girl did an awesome job and below are some of the pictures she took.

Yes, he is going to be a golfer of course!

Also, we were able to find a new car to replace the one that was totalled. Pay close attention, its a 2011 instead of a 2010, but other than that its exactly the same.

Hopefully we will get to keep this one a bit longer then the first one.

Everyone is just fine!

Wednesday started normal and ended a bit unusual. We headed up to Frisco to watch Cirque du Soleil and ended the night in the hospital. Jonas and I had just picked up my car and were heading home, when I was hit by a woman in an intersection who was running a red light. Jonas was following me in his car. It didn't seem real but it definitely was!

Unfortunately, my beautiful new car was pretty much completely totaled, but all we cared about was if little Cameron was ok. We got to Baylor hospital and after lots of blood tests and monitoring, they let us leave the next day. I had to spend the night because I was having mild contractions, but they said everything was fine. Thank God for his protection! It could have been so much worse! Here are a few pics.

Baby Shower #2 at the Lacey's!

After my Bishop Lynch shower on Saturday with around 50 people, we had another shower on Sunday! This shower was thrown by one of my club volleyball parents from last year and we invited girls that I've coached at Skyline over the past three years. We had about 40 mom's and daugthers attend and the party was so much fun. Cameron is so lucky to have so much love around him!

This picture is of me with one of Cameron's new outfits from his Aunt Morgan!!

Bishop Lynch Volleyball Shower

This Friday, April and a few moms from BL had planned to throw us a baby shower, but as most of you know we had a little ice/snow storm come through and we had to reschedule to Saturday afternoon to let things clear up a bit. This is the view from our front door on Friday morning.
April made this awesome diaper cake!
We played a fun "feed the baby" game

More furniture

Our chair finally arrived and on Tuesday night April had finished a pillow and quilt matching the bedding.
