Fourth of July Festivities!

We had a very busy weekend full of fun, friends, and family. One Saturday, Kelan, Bees, and Jeremy came over. This was Bees' first time to meet Cameron! After that, we had a little fun at Top Golf!

On Sunday, we took a trip up to Stonebridge Ranch with the family. There were 12 adults, 2 children, and 1 baby! They had a buffet, band, and fireworks. A perfect evening!

Happy Birthday Aunt April!

Last week April turned 26! To celebrate, we had a birthday dinner with dad on Saturday night, surprise birthday dinner for April on Sunday night, and birthday dinner with mom on her actual birthday, Monday night. It was a weekend of birthday celebrations!

 We also gave Cameron a lot of tummy time

Father's Day Celebrations!

On June 11 my cousin in California, Kristin, graduated from Cal Poly Tech so my grandpa decided to make a trip out there for the graduation and then swing by Dallas afterwards before heading back to New Jersey. My uncle, Kristin's dad, happened to have a business meeting in Dallas so he was able to come as well! It was so awesome having them both here and giving them a chance to hang out with Cameron!

Also, over the course of the week, I got to celebrate Father's Day with my dad, my step-dad, my grandpa, and my wonderful husband who got to celebrate his first Father's Day!

Week 9 & 10

So we missed the 9 week post last weekend so this will be a double feature. Cameron has changed so much over the last 2 weeks, and every day he shows us something new. He likes to smile and giggle, eats all the time, and sleeps consistently through the night (6-7 hours). Occasionally he will attempt to cry, but it usually doesn't last very long.

9 weeks

We started the week at the Arboretum for Jonas' birthday with friends and family. Once we got there Jonas and Cam laid down on the blanket and took it easy for a while.

Week 10

 We went and visited my old assistant coach Kaylyn from Skyline who just had double surgery with rods inserted the length of her shins. This requires some major rest so we hung out in the bed with her.

 Cam got a "Kickin Coaster" from Poppy Chip's friends so that he could practice his leg kicks.

 We also took out the baby pool for Cameron's first swim outside. He was not that interested and preferred to stay on dry land.

Week 8!

Cameron is already 8 weeks old! It's amazing how time flies. Let's review the last week....

New shades for our Memorial Day weekend lake trip!

Thursday night we went to walk at White Rock while a Beatles cover-band was playing at the arboretum. We stopped and watched the sunset before heading home.

On Saturday and Sunday we hung out at the Ongena's lakehouse on Lake Athens. It was awesome and Cameron had the honor of being the first baby to visit the house.

Week 7

Today Cameron turned 7 weeks old. Ella Mackay, who was born just a few hours before Cameron at the same hospital, came over with her family, Tommy, Krista & Owen. We had to get a pic with the two of them together. Watch you hand Cameron!

Ella rested her head on Cameron's shoulder. So sweet!!

Cameron's best friend at the moment is the ceiling fan. He can't get enough of it and stares at it every second he is in the living room. It calms him down so no complaints here....yet.

We started putting Cameron in his crib to get him used to it. Up until now he sleeps in the pack n' play, but it's time to get used to his room before I go back to work.

Jonas spent the afternoon cleaning his old Legos for Owen (1 of 5 bins). He was super excited since he was able to build some stuff as well.

Cam is now 6 weeks old. He has started smiling at us and likes to watch the ceiling fan and other "interesting" objects. 

Cameron absolutely loves to take baths, especially when he gets to go swimming. He completely relaxes and goes limp.
